With the right type of artwork in hand, Famous Marks can easily size and prep logos to fit specified imprint areas for all promotional products.
Details pertaining to the right type of artwork follow here. Please keep in mind that these are very basic instructions and for the most part pertain to 1 or 2 color jobs only, not 4 color process jobs. Additional details are driven by actual promotional products being purchased and the desired artwork to appear on them. In such cases, details will be provided separately.
We prefer vector files created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as an .ai or .eps file. Include any "placed" images as a separate file. Please save you file down to version CS.
If you are placing images, please be sure your file is 300 dpi or higher.
Convert type (fonts) to outlines before sending.
If art was created on a PC, please include font files of all fonts used in logo or associated collateral material. This will be needed in those cases when we have to add a phone number, web address or other to a promotional product.
If art was created on a MAC, please suggest a substitute PC-based font.
Include all Pantone/PMS colors used in ai/eps file and in your email message to us when you send us the file.
For the most part, we print in spot colors and prefer files sent in RBG. If we are printing your project in full color, please be sure to send your art set up in CMYK. If you have a critical color in the CMYK file, please give us a PMS color to match that color to. If your color file and/or instructions are complex, we may require a color print out from you sent to our factory. Please inquire.
Famous Marks is PC-based. Your art and all elements as noted above (including fonts and placed images) should be emailed to joyce@famousmarks.com.
If available - send us both a full color and a black and white version of your logo.
Making your look good on branded merchandise is our job ... we are happy to size your logo for best use on promotional products - for FREE. If you need more extensive art/design services, please inquire.
Don't have the correct file format of your artwork? No problem. We can create vector art for you. We are happy to provide you with a quote based on your specific needs. For reference however, estimate $50.00 for us to recreate a simple logo and usually no more than $150.00 for the average logo that's not overly complicated.

Remember, the colors you see on your monitor are not the same we see on ours. Use the information at the link below for reference only. Only original Pantone color chips or other original Pantone color printed materials should be used for exact match and/or true reference.

FONTS AND COLORS (also see ARTWORK, above) 10-11 pts is the preferred font size for t-shirts and twill shirts 12 pts or higher is recommended for printing on pique and other rough surface materials when printing with water based inks - we cannot pms match colors when printing with water based inks - shirts must be 100% cotton
OTHER a brand new BeefyT, large, measures approximately 23" across, armpit to armpit (for mockups) all art subject to approval all quotes confirmed after art has been approved for printing
